A winter on the coast
October to May is the best time to ask about a month-long stay. It’s outside the summer season, so more of our homes have open weeks, and a furnished house by the water is a quiet place to spend the off-season.
Summer months compete with vacation bookings, so if you need July or August, ask early.

Monthly stay questions
How long can a monthly stay run?
Monthly stays are arranged through our extended-stay channel (1–3 month placements). Need something shorter or longer? Tell us your dates and a person will tell you what’s possible.
Are monthly prices shown on the booking site?
Not always. The booking site prices stays night by night, and monthly terms are quoted by a person, so the online price may not include them. Ask about your dates for a quote.
What’s included in a monthly stay?
The homes are furnished, and each home’s amenities are listed on its booking page. Utilities, cleaning and linen changes depend on the length of the stay, and your quote spells them out.
Do you take insurance and corporate placements?
Yes, send us the details. Insurance placements, project crews and relocating employees are what the extended-stay inquiry is for: tell us who is staying and who pays, and ask about billing arrangements when you do.
Can I bring a pet on a monthly stay?
Some of our homes allow pets. See our pet-friendly homes, and mention your pet when you ask about dates.
