One house. Everyone under the same roof.
Family reunions, wedding blocks, milestone birthdays — our largest homes sleep 8 to 14 across Halifax, the South Shore, and the Annapolis Valley, professionally run and locally staffed. Book direct with the operator — never priced above the platforms.
Why one house beats six hotel rooms.
The best part of a reunion happens between the events — the late breakfast, the kids running between rooms, the one conversation that wouldn’t have happened across three hotel floors. A single large home gives you a full kitchen for group dinners, common rooms that hold everyone, and one shared bill that’s usually well under the cost of a block of hotel rooms. You book once, and you deal with the team that actually runs the house.
“This place fit a large group very comfortably. Everything was so well prepared for our group… The hosts are very responsive. I’ll come back just to stay at this home.”
“Great for my whole family — parents, siblings, spouses, and kids running around. The Casa Scotia team was always very responsive whenever we had questions… we’d definitely stay again.”

The honest answers.
How many people can your largest homes sleep?
Our largest homes sleep 12 to 14, and several more sleep 8 to 10. For bigger gatherings we can sometimes place one group across two nearby homes — ask us.
Can we host the wedding itself at the house?
Our homes host the wedding weekend — the getting-ready morning, the family dinner, the recovery brunch — but most aren’t licensed event venues. Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll give you a straight answer on what the house can hold.
Do you hold dates while our group decides?
Ask us — for group inquiries a real person manages the calendar, and we’ll tell you honestly how long we can hold your dates.
Is booking direct actually cheaper?
The nightly rate here is never priced above the platforms — we set the rates ourselves. What you skip is the platform’s service fee on top.
What about noise and neighbours?
These are homes in real communities with quiet hours. Reunions and wedding parties are welcome; open-invite parties aren’t.
How does payment work for a group?
One booking, one payer, one receipt — most groups settle up among themselves. Ask us about invoicing if the family treasurer needs paperwork.

Occasion, rough dates, headcount — that’s all we need to come back with real options. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so.
